Express Entry

Due to the pandemic, the Canadian government favored immigration programs that allowed those who were in Canada to stay in Canada.

At the end of 2020, we no longer received invitations to the Express Entry for the Skilled Worker program. The good news is that the Express Entry draws for skilled workers resume in July 2022. It is therefore time to create your profile in the Express Entry database.

Remember that to create your profile you will need valid language tests (IELTS general training / CELPIP for English and / or TEF / TCF Canada for French). The language test is only valid for one year. For degrees, you will need your degrees evaluation by a designated institution (WES.org or others) from the past five years.

There are thousands of profiles waiting in the database, so we need to be patient again before receiving an invitation. But if you have the right profile, age, diplomas, language skills, professional experience, you have your chances.

The Canadian government hopes to catch up on immigration targets. We want to integrate more than 400,000 immigrants every year.
